Emco carpet mats are intended for use indoors. We recommend using carpet mats as a third zone for moisture and residual dirt. Zone one is for coarse dirt and zone two is for fine and moist dirt. The Image Outdoor carpet mat can be used not only indoors but also outdoors (coarse dirt). All mats with a rubber backing (all mats that can be washed in the washing machine according to the washing instructions) are subject to the risk of soot formation due to the effects of UV and ozone. This can lead to color loss in the mats and permanent discoloration of the floor covering. This damage is not covered by the warranty. A regular washing cycle (at least every 4 weeks) prevents the risk of soot. PromoMat Basic and PromoRunner Basic are subject to the risk of plasticizer migration (link to FAQ) if the products are laid on a vinyl (design) floor. It is recommended to install a separating layer. The separating layer prevents the risk of plasticizer migration.
